NCHIVE (엔차이브) is a 6-member South Korean boy group under Aubemoon Studio, consisting of HA.L (Leader), E.AN, KANGSAN, YUCHAN, JUYOUNG, and N. Combining the mathematical unknown ‘N’ with ‘ARCHIVE,’ their group name represents a mission to capture, store, and share infinite potential and diverse musical stories with their fans.
The group officially debuted on April 9, 2024, with their first single album DRIVE, featuring the title track RACER. Known for their powerful stage presence, versatile vocals, and charismatic choreography, NCHIVE has built a strong global fanbase known as ‘SAVE’ (세이브). This interview was conducted on-site during MEX Berlin 2026 at Messe Berlin, where NCHIVE performed as the main music headliners on Saturday, October 24th, 2026.
If you had to hand out awards right now: Who wins “Longest Time Spent in Front of the Mirror,” and who wins “Most Likely to Lose Their Belongings on Tour”?
HA.L: Let’s go by steps. First, the award for looking in the mirror a lot. The award for looking in the mirror the most? One, two, three!
MEMBERS: (Four people point to E.AN, while Yuchan points to Kangsan)
KANGSAN: Me?
E.AN: Since we are artists, it’s good to look in the mirror a lot. Looking in the mirror a lot and practicing, all members.
N: Now let’s go for the one losing their belongings. One, two, three!
MEMBERS: (Everyone points to YUCHAN)
N: He already has a track record. There is a history.
YUCHAN: And I feel like I’m going to lose my card again this time.
N: Oh really? This time too?
YUCHAN: Because I inserted the card at the hotel. But I left it inserted and came out. I left my card plugged in, so I ended up leaving another gift in France this time.
MEMBERS: That’s great, congratulations!
If SAVE were to write a book about NCHIVE’s journey so far, what would be the title of Chapter 1?
E.AN: In my personal opinion, I think Chapter 1 hasn’t even started yet. If Chapter 1 were to begin, what do you think it would be like? What do you think?
YUCHAN: I have a phrase that I like. “The beginning may be humble, but the end will be prosperous.” I want to decorate the preface like that, somewhat grandly. For me, Eupchammaseok (sacrificing someone for the greater good)… I heard Eupchammaseok a lot from the CEO.
KANGSAN: I have one coming to mind. For me, if it’s a book, how about something like “It was summer.”
E.AN: “It was summer” is also not bad. HA.L, can’t you do a cute one for us?
N: The first thought I had when I heard this question was: before our debut, the first official place where we met fans was the Christmas Cinema Event at the movie theater. So “Our First Meeting, Cinema Event.”
E.AN: Cinema! That’s what I thought.
JUYOUNG: For me, just like our team name, I think it would be nice to write Chapter 1 with the meaning of ‘unknown variable N’ and creating many possibilities and parts like that.
If each member could have one temporary superpower for the duration of the tour (like instant teleportation, never needing sleep, or speaking languages fluently)—who would choose what?
YUCHAN: Every time we do something like this, I always go first so I don’t have time to think, but I’ll go simple. Elephant-like strength. Super strength. Elite Punch. Elite Punch. I will smash the stage once. Please love ‘Never Give Up’ that comes out in ‘Never Give Up’.
E.AN: HEAL THE WORLD. Whenever I get a question like this, I always give the same answer: I want to ‘Heal the World’ and heal all of you with my voice.
JUYOUNG: Since we go on overseas tours and communicate with many international fans, to make it more comfortable and enjoyable, Language! Language Master. I’m thinking of Language Master.
YUCHAN: Does it work with animals too?
JUYOUNG: Animals? Animals would be fun too. With dogs or something, that would be nice.
KANGSAN: Right now, a superpower… I can guess it. 100 Million Dollars! 100 Million Dollars, okay.
HA.L: Does that count as a superpower too?
N: Superpower, for me… What I felt a lot during this tour is that if I could teleport, whenever I miss ‘SAVE’, we could capture/meet them anywhere, so I will choose teleportation. But I can only go alone… If I master it a bit… Isn’t it hot like this?
HA.L: Right, okay okay. For me, Telekinesis. I can also move the luggage next to us, and we can go out too, that’s great right?
What is one message or feeling you want to leave with SAVE at the end of this tour that isn’t captured in any official song lyrics?
HA.L: Okay. Personally, when doing last year’s tour, I think I had a strong desire to grow regarding the stage. So doing this and music shows, I had a big desire to show a growing image, but this time, it was more like “Let’s just enjoy it completely?” So there were times I set my tension a bit excessively, and I just performed with the single thought of wanting the stage to be happy. By the end of this tour, I hope SAVE receives that energy from us and sees NCHIVE on stage looking happy, and receiving that…
N: …I hope they receive plenty of that feeling and want to become just as happy. Okay. I have a message I want to deliver to SAVE. What could it be? I was so happy to be with SAVE on this tour as well, and we received a lot of positive energy from SAVE, and I think it was a time where we could give back just as much. Since there will be plenty of happy times like this in the future, everyone, come to SAVE! Fall deeply for NCHIVE!
KANGSAN: Thank you. First of all, last year and this year, we actually haven’t done proper activities in places like Europe, right? So we worried a lot that the audience count might be too small, and had those concerns, but thank you so much for coming in large numbers. What I want to tell all SAVEs is that I think I haven’t even shown 50% yet. On stage, I obviously put in more than 100% effort, but outside of that, there is endless potential for growth, so I’d be thankful if you watch over us.
JUYOUNG: For me… There are so many questions, but one that came to mind among them is that during this overseas tour, I have a mindset of hoping there is at least one moment that remains most memorable and happy for all SAVEs, so I’d like to ask if there was such a moment. Yes, for me.
