When the global Music Bank World Tour arrives at Barcelona’s historic Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on September 12, 2026, all eyes will be on ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1). For the multinational rookie group forged through Mnet’s high-stakes survival program BOYS II PLANET, performing in Western Europe marks a major milestone. But before they step into the Spanish stadium lights, ALD1 faces an equally pivotal release: their second mini-album, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST (Unbreakable: Youth Beast), dropping on August 24.

Following a turbulent spring, ALD1 has firmly re-established its operational rhythm as a seven-member unit. In April 2026, agency WAKEONE announced that member Kim Geonwoo would suspend all group activities indefinitely to enter a period of self-reflection following a pre-debut hot mic controversy. While the sudden transition posed an early test for a team less than a year into their career, the remaining seven members have demonstrated remarkable resilience, recalibrating their formations and vocal lines for their ongoing promotions.

The active lineup brings together a unique mix of veteran experience, global charm, and raw talent:

  • Leo (Leader): The central pillar of ALD1. A former Trainee A member, Leo’s artistic discipline and steady composure provide the structural backbone for the group’s intensive stage routines.
  • Sangwon (Center): The crowning winner of BOYS II PLANET, whose magnetic center control and fluid dance lines serve as the group’s visual and choreographic anchor.
  • Junseo: A former member of WEi, Junseo brings indispensable industry experience and vocal stability to live broadcasts.
  • Xinlong & Anxin: The duo driving ALD1’s international versatility, delivering punchy rap sequences, clean vocal layers, and multilingual engagement.
  • Arno & Sanghyeon: Performance engines whose sharp physical execution and vocal stamina power the group’s most grueling choreographies.

Where their January debut EP EUPHORIA captivated audiences with bright synth-pop and anthemic energy, UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST marks a deliberate, gritty shift in narrative direction.

Following their summer prologue single No School Tomorrow, the new mini-album trades youthful innocence for cinematic intensity. Anchored by heavy basslines, dark electronic textures, and sharper visual storytelling, the album explores themes of endurance, self-realization, and raw ambition.

To deepen the fan experience, ALD1 launched the BEAST ARCHIVE—an interactive digital portal that allows listeners to explore the group’s fictional lore, unlock teaser sequences, and preview conceptual artifacts prior to the official August 24 release.

The upcoming September 12 showcase at the Music Bank World Tour in Barcelona represents ALD1’s first major Western European performance of the BEAST era. Sharing the stage with powerhouse acts such as ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, and NMIXX, ALD1 is set to showcase their newly adapted seven-member choreography and vocal arrangements to tens of thousands of fans in attendance.

From the intense spotlight of survival television to navigating real-world industry hurdles, ALD1’s journey has been anything but linear. Yet as August 24 approaches, the seven active members stand ready to prove that their drive remains unbreakable.
